To be honest your daughter might hate her time here, but this builds a strong sense of community within the school! The general academic vibe within the student body is a bit toxic, but does push students to do well and get good grades. I think the general idea is Achieved = Not Achieved, Merit = Achieved and Excellence is what is expected. There's no hardcore bullying here and overall girls don't misbehave or do anything too outrageous, as far as I know there aren't really any 'bad crowds' to fall in with. Older girls are really supportive of the younger ones, and as a whole the teachers are really lovely. Even if you're not religious the special character of the school is something that sets it apart and gives students opportunities in leadership and to meet new people. Advice I'd give to anyone starting out here is to join all the clubs and sign up for all the things! Overall most students might not like it here, but we wouldn't like it anywhere. It's a good school and I wouldn't rather go anywhere else. P.S there's a general air of snobbery that kind of goes with the schools whole thing, it's not as posh as it pretends to be, but some of the girls are!
