I feel Brooklyn school is not necessarily a bad school, but as mentioned in the title, it definitely has some flaws. One problem, which isn’t limited just to Brooklyn, is the fact that the two closest year groups (e.g year 3 and 4) are grouped together within their syndicate. This is a problem as sometimes the older year of the syndicate will have a carbon copy of the year of learning they just went through, sometimes leaving the older children learning little to nothing. The years aren’t even split between the syndicate, it’s more of a “hey if you learn something the second time round that’s a bonus” kind of mindset. Not much bullying or anything to be concerned about, and people with specific issues are very well accounted for.
