Clearview was a decent school. It created a safe environment with little to no bullying, and was amazing at teaching us time management skills and independent study. Was a great gateway to the local high school, Rolleston College, as they frequently communicated about key skills they believe will help us succeed in NCEA. Nicely balanced fun times with learning times.
As a former student, the school didn’t allow much, as well as most of the staff there look down their noses at you like they own the world. It is disappointing that I didn’t enjoy being at school. The education at Clearview is very poorly and you don’t learn as much as you should. Also, a lot of teachers favourite certain children, like the popular children.
Honestly horrible. As a former student, there is almost no space compared to more open environment schools that have more space in an out of the classrooms. Mixed year levels which is a bit strange but its whatever
Clearview Primary is the most amazing school, from the principal down it is just incredible they do everything they can for their students and even families and in our experience when our oldest son was bullied they sorted it so fast the two older boys stayed away from him from that moment!
The teacher truly care and listen or let you know whatever you need to know.
There are so many opportunities for our children and all of them take so much extra planning time but the teacher care enough to make things happen.
The teacher aides are total class too ❤️
