This is such a bad school!! The system is very old and out dated. Every day I wake up knowing that I have to go to gisborne boys high my depression just gets worse.all they care about is rugby.they never give us a break if we do something fun it's straight back to class after words. There are no treacher only days,no mufti days and most the teachers are just toxic.send your son to anywhere but there
Horrible school teacher’s abuse their power a lot of bullying going on teachers bullying students. No respect from teachers at all.(not all of them some of them are great you know who you are) but for example my cairns and Jamie swift those are 2 bullies everyone knows of at boys high yet no one does nothing
As a young tranny attending Gisborne Boys’ High School for the first time I was worried about being exposed to bullying and getting the bash. This all changed when I met a nice big Tongan boy and he introduced me to the boyz as the “palangi”. I thrived in school events as I felt one with the school motto “courage knows no defeat!” On the negative side I have heard that the teachers meet to vape in the toilets which fulfils my desire to be a party animal! The classic gang symbols written on the toilet walls attract heaps of young monks and like myself are now a fully patched member of the mob. Other than getting my peanut butter sandwiches stolen every lunchtime by the brothers I fully recommend this school to our younger little brothers.
I’m in my last year. I haven’t had a single day where I’ve come home and not considered killing myself so I didn’t have to wake up and go back to Gisborne boys high school. Do not send your son to this school.
