Green Island School

Sadly when the new principal took over for Green island school 2 years ago the school turned to custard, this school favours the bully's and turns a blind eye to the horrific things that are happening in the school grounds both of my children have been pulled out from this school due to safety reasons my oldest child was severely bullied and inappropriately touched on several occasions by another child and sadly the principal and teachers all turned a blind eye even when the offending child admitted to it, nothing was done. My youngest child 7 was stabbed with a sharpened stick in the play ground by another 7 year old the school even has camera footage of the incident but principal was due to catch a flight that night so didn't want to deal with it until 2days later, the child that attacked mine was stood down for one day. If you want somewhere safe to send your child to school then I would definitely not recommend Green Island School.

Brought my children here from another school and wish I had of done it sooner. The principal is fantastic, the school has many supports available if needed. Many sports and extra curriculum activities available. It's a place kids gets kids excited about. They make learning and participating fun.
