Greytown School used to be amazing but has gone down hill over the past ten years, junior teachers are awful, the rest are pretty average, it used to be very welcoming but now the teachers seen uninterested and the principle has a haughty attitude. I know of about 20 families whose kids dread going and several others who homeschool rather than let their kids be anxious about learning. anonymous as I dont want my kids or my nephews to suffer the fall out for my honesty.
The year 1 and 2 teachers are awful, I know at least 10 kids who dread school due to the horrible attitude from the staff, not sure if they like children let alone respect them, year 3 and 4 have average teachers, year 5 and 6 have a couple of outstanding male teachers, years 7 and 8 are pretty ho hum.
Communication between home and school is hit and miss.
Over all this school has gone downhill over the last 5 or 6 years.
