Teachers often focused their attention on the smarter children, leaving others feeling overlooked. Bullying was rampant, and if you didn’t fit into certain categories—being wealthy, academically gifted, athletic, devoutly religious, or not religious enough—you were often marginalised and treated as an outcast by your following students and/or the staff. There are a few teachers who are amazing but it’s not worth the trauma. Would not recommend.
This school is a great school with teachers who care about the students and their work and will spend time with a student to help them as much as they can.
It’s a lovely school that is not so big and everyone gets along. The staff of HCS truly cares about the students and want them to achieve excellence and reach their fullest potential. The school environment is extremely positive where sports and academy is relatively balanced on a high level.
