I went to James Cook High School. This year is my last year there. I am really glad I went there. There are some really awesome teachers and most of the other students are really nice. Next year I am going to study at Carey Bible College. I think being at JC has helped me to be able to relate to lots of different people.
Our eldest has just finished Y13 and our middle son is in year 10. They have both flourished there. So many lovely friendly students and amazing staff. Great learning opportunities. So grateful we sent our boys there. Our boys are pākehā so in a cultural minority there, but that has been so good for them. They've been accepted for who they are, and have learned to get along with different people and value different cultures.
This school has so many nice students, its really easy to make friends. The teachers here are really good and very determined to make you pass you ncea, the staff here is very helpful aswell. The events at James Cook Highschool is really fun.
I don't like how my boys got harassing from one of the teachers all because my son wasn't allowed a water and the teachers behavior towards my boys is not acceptable calling my boys bad names and yelling at them for no reason such a bad example specially for a teacher to call kids bad names and using foul language
