The teachers who work here are loving and do their best... In the infant room. They are barely able to keep up with the children, because of the ratio, so the children spend a lot of time just wandering around a dirty room or outside on the astroturf. Again, the teachers do their best, but they are almost always busy with children with high needs, or nappies, or young children needing feeding, or nappies, or feeding, or tussles, and they have very little time left for actual teaching or playing. It's group babysitting, but with little real attention. Our child became quite distressed attending this school, as he witnesses children crying nonstop, and he got scared to come here because he'd be left alone in a corner for long periods while the teachers put out all the fires. The over 2 room was worse. The teachers are snappy and over worked. I witnessed arguments between the staff and while I empathise with the working conditions these normally lovely people are under, it is a stressful environment for the children.
