They don’t care about if your child is ok all the care about is the kids who do well in sports and the kids who are geniuses.
So yeah if your kid is Neurotypical and within a good mental state, it might be a better experience. Whereas if your kid struggles with mental illness or/and has a neurodivergence I highly suggest you go somewhere more accommodating.
(Also side note one of my teachers was extremely unhelpful, she would poke fun at me having OCD and ADHD ???? So some teachers are horrid aswell 💀)
