Teachers are in a variety of ones who show they care about their job and what's best for the students and ones who only care for a few things. Fights are common between students so always be cautious of that. School competitions are really great to get to bond with other students. So an overall review is that it's a mid school.
Hello I am a former student at Rangitikei College this school is a great school It has its ups and downs this school is prone for culture bullying and discrimination towards the LGBTQ+ Community but apart from that this school was amazing as an LGBTQ+ person I didn't get treated the best at this school most of the teachers are nice but some are not also the education at this school is down right bad compared to many other non rural schools.
I am a former student at rangitikei college I recommend this school to anyone who likes culture. Otherwise this school in my opinion isn't the best I attended rangitikei college for 6 months in yr 9 and was worst 6 months of my life. Moving to palmerston north has made me find out that rangitikei standards are 100x lower than than my new school I didn't understand any off the work they were teaching in fact my grades have skyrocketed at my new school. There are also very poor friendships here. Talking to the friends I still do have at this school it has changed since i left. So next year I'm looking at enrolling back into rangitikei college.
The teachers are kind to me, but I hated the students. So many hoodrats, and I HATED it. They're homophobic and I got bullied for being in the LGBTQ+ community.
I hated my time here, the teachers were rude and inconsiderate, time and time again I would be picked on and nobody would help me at all, I hated this school and everything about it
