Friends had bad experiences
As someone who did not attend myself, but has only heard countless stories Rolleston school sounds like an awful school. There was a large amount of bullying and swearing, and created an unsafe environment for the students. They did not care about academic grades and set them up for failure once beginning high school. The school hired incompetent but “nice” teachers who had favouritism towards popular students. Glad I didn’t attend.
Unusual
As a former student, this school did prepare me for year 9 and I made some good friends but looking back it is a bit of a dumpster fire. Pretty much every kid there swears or makes threats and the teachers don't really know what they're doing. The material is very easy and pretty outdated. They don't give good advice.
