Your child will not be safe and their mental health will plummet

Terrible.

I have worked hard to ensure a healthy relationship and line of communication is open between the school and whanau.
They will not have a bar of it. Children at crisis point are preyed upon. Jill Weldon spends a lot of her time watching students via various cameras throughout the school. She is accusatory and gets her back up if you do not agree with whatever nonsense she is spouting. She gives of mega church wife vibes. The senior staff and one of the office staff, Donna, are just plain awful. I have witnessed on numerous occasions Stephen Knightly screaming, chasing and berating students. TPI pride themselves on being different - different does not always equal good. TPI pride themselves on being a safe environment for neurodiverse children. It is NOT safe. Students are treated like prisoners.
I have spoken with countless parents who have children at TPI currently and the majority have noticed a huge decline in mental health and confidence with some students expressing the desire to commit suicide. I am at breaking point now and probably going to leave.

Please seek other schooling for your children. TPI is dangerous.

Also, I urge you to stand at the bus stop or outside the dental clinic on the sidewalk at 3pm and listen to how the students behave. It's a savage free for all and nothing is ever done.

Do not be blinded by those unnaturally white teeth. Pop on your shades and see for yourself.

Bad Service

Not great

This school is one of the worst educational experiences I have ever had. The teachers are not knowledgeable and often lack enthusiasm. The classes are overcrowded and ill-equipped, making it difficult to learn. The administration is unhelpful and unresponsive to student concerns. Overall, this school is not a good place for students to get a quality education.

Mental Health

Wellbeing

I am writing to complain about the lack of mental health support in our school. As a student here, I have seen first-hand the struggles of peers who are dealing with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. I am deeply concerned about the lack of resources to support them.

The guidance counselor is often overburdened and unable to provide the individualized attention that many students need. Further, there are no mental health professionals in the school to provide support and guidance. As a result, students are left to fend for themselves and may not get the help they need.

It has become clear to me that this issue is one that is not being taken seriously. I urge you to take action and implement mental health resources in our school. It is essential for the well-being of our students and the overall health of our school community.

THIS IS NOT A SAFE SCHOOL

Dangerous School

Never put my kids here, just looking at the pictures with the crime scene was enough for me.
